You Are Not Alone
A sanctuary for those who have left the Linux desktop but feel they cannot voice it without facing toxicity.
For many, leaving Linux feels like a betrayal of a community. We have been conditioned to believe that stability is "selling out" and that spending your life in the terminal debugging kernels is the only way to be a "real" power user.
The reality is that thousands of professionals are quietly moving back to macOS and Windows every year. They do not talk about it on the forums because they do not want to deal with the elitism, the condescension, or the aggressive questioning of their technical competence.
Share Your Story
If you have left the Linux desktop and want to share your experience, we invite you to do so. We are building a library of "Exit Stories" to show others that it is okay to prioritize productivity over ideology.
A submission form is currently in development and will be available soon. Your story matters. Thank you for your patience.
